Job description

  • Ensure that assessment venues are prepared on time and at the correct venue.
  • Ensure that venues are prepared for events
  • Safely stacking and redistribution furniture to offices and venues.
  • Safely moving furniture and equipment between the UJ campuses
  • Safely removing of redundant furniture and equipment.
  • Safely mantling and dismantling of furniture and equipment

Minimum requirements

  • Grade 10 (NQF2) with 1 year job-related experience; or
  • Vocational certificate (NQF1), with 1 year job-related experience  
  • Must have good knowledge of furniture moving.
  • A valid code 08 Drivers License and
  • Professional drivers permit (PDP)

Competencies and Behavioural Attributes:
  • Strong interpersonal relationships.
  • Work under stress
  • Follow instructions
  • Ability to work in a team.

 Recommendations:
  • Willingness to undergo further skills training.
  • Willingness to work overtime if and when required
  • Computer literate, proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel & MS Outlook (Intermediate skill-level).
