Job description
- Managing Director’s Diary
- Controlling the Director’s office budget
- Managing all documentation
- Making national and international travel arrangements
- Preparing documentation for meetings including compiling minutes of meetings
- Managing special events related to the Director’s office
- Compiling of reports
- Arranging refreshments for guests
- Keeping office equipment functioning and in good working order
- Liaise with other departments and Schools within the College
- Any other reasonable request by the Director
- Coordinate administrative activities of Departments in the School of Management
Minimum requirements
- A relevant Diploma at NQF level 6
- Minimum of 3 years’ secretarial experience within a higher education institution
- Proven computer skills in Windows and MS Office
- Documentation handling
- Working knowledge of MS office package
- Office administration
- Written and verbal skills
- Planning and organizing (time management)
- Logistic Management
- Knowledge of an educational institutional environment
