Job Description:
 
  • The Executive Education Department is one of the divisions within the Johannesburg Business School (JBS). The School is actively recruiting for two Programme Managers to join its dynamic team.
  • The Programme Manager: Executive Education and Programmes role is the operational coalface of the Executive Education Department, acting as the central authority for coordinating and mobilising multiple processes and resources while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, innovative, and creative programmes in line with client demands.
 
Responsibilities:
 
The incumbent will be responsible for the -
  • Design of open and customised programmes
  • Effective client liaison and stakeholder management
  • Professional programme administration and delivery of programmes, including logistic and coordination activities
  • Management of faculty and programme resources
  • Monitoring of programme evaluation and feedback
  • Adherence to governance and regulatory requirements

Minimum requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree with specialisation in Social Sciences, Psychology, or Business Management, or any relevant qualification at NQF7 or equivalent
  • At least five years’ work experience in a professional services environment
  • Understanding of the educational environment, preferably higher education
  • Experience in stakeholder and key account management
  • MS Office skills

  • Ability to work well in a team environment, and coordinate multiple inputs with tight deadlines, and a variety of internal and external stakeholders
