Job description
- Development of training videos for OnePMO for newly onboarded PMs / interns
- Capturing learnings during her helping users and making them into a video FAQ library for OnePMO at UJ (review various close-out reports and generate a repository for lessons in different projects).
- Looking at how change management can be formally integrated and reported on more fully within UJ OnePMO projects.
- Reviewing OnePMO life documents for possible correction / improved readability (help finalise some of the templates we use).
- Support the SUP team where they need assistance with updating their project information, cleaning of the portfolio and ensuring it is up to date.
- Support in project documentation compilation and preparation for various approval bodies, for you to understand end to end UJ PM practices.
- Assist in formalization of risk management processes for projects and support the teams as we endeavour standardization of processes.
- As part of governance, ensure process compliance to avoid audit mishaps.
- Help with project health checks on red flag projects that are keeping people up at night, to get to the bottom of root causes.
- Help map One PMO projects to the SDG goals that UJ is passionate about and help with creating One PMO SDG goal dashboard.
- Learn about PMO maturity assessments and maturity models to understand how to measure and grow capability.
- Assist with generating One PMO reports for executive level and other data reporting needs.
- Be of assistance to the top level of One PMO where the need arises.
- Provide support data from One PMO to support executive decisions that are shaped through project data and insights.
- Offer assistance in any project governance related, any project research or any project reviews required.
- Provide support for SUP members use of One PMO
- Develop with SUP team leader necessary support and development projects that lie outside capex project developments
- Monitor and control One PMO use – division wide – and report to the COO on this.
- Generate Performance Reports.
- Aid in the further development of Risk, Quality and Benefits reporting from One PMO for quarterly use by COO.
- Aid in developing the half-yearly COO Project reports per department for mid-year breakaway use.
Minimum requirements
- A postgraduate qualification (NQF 8) in any discipline
- 10 years' of experience in Project Management using multiple tools is essential
- A postgraduate qualification (NQF 8) in project management or auditing or risk management
- Results focused

- Previous experience in the Higher Education and Training sector
