Job description
- Management of Continuing Education Programmes
- Execution of Departmental administration pertaining to staff, university and faculty processes and policies
- Management of departmental marketing activities
- Managing programme reviews
- Utilisation of university systems in performance of duties
- Responsible for other duties as assigned
Minimum requirements
- A relevant Master's degree (NQF9)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in academic and student administration within a higher education institution
- Proven managerial experience
- Exposure to programme development and reviews
- Proven computer skills in Windows and MS Office, ITS, MAMS
- Work independently
- Effective communication
- Ability to operate at executive level
- Persuading and influencing
- Transformational leadership
- Strong interpersonal relationships
- Analytical thinking.
- Transport and Logistics background at a higher education environment
- Academic administration experience
