Job Description:
 
Managing all administrative duties typical of a radio broadcast environment as requested by the Station Manager and UJFM Operational Team. 
 
Responsibilities:
 
Duties include the following:
 
• Manage the Station Manager’s diary and inform other managers of each team member’s availability. This applies to external people as well.
• Facilitate all scheduled management and staff meetings.
• Handling of all administrative communications as requested by Programmes Manager to the on-air team for meetings, snoops, events etc.
• Traffic controller between production, sales and programming
• Manage staff and presenter cards for access to the studio.
• Facilitation of communication with all UJFM staff and Presenters from Management level.
• Assist in the preparation and compilation of agendas and print packs for all meetings.
• Noting of minutes during all meetings.
• Manage staff and presenter cards for access to the studio.
• Maintain the appearance of front desk.
• Promote the station with a friendly demeanour at front desk.
• Filing and archiving of all documentation.
• Procurement
• Keep record of Budget

Minimum requirements

  • NQF6 qualification in Public Relations, Marketing, Project Management or Brand Management.
  • 3 years Calendar Management experience
  • 3 years Office management experience
  • 3 Years Traffic Management experience
  • 3 Years Budget, Procurement and handling of payroll enquiries
  • 3 Years Brand Management experience
Competencies and Behavioural Attributes:
 
  • Excellent written, verbal, listening and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Good Project management skills.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Proficiency in the use if Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)
