Job description
- To provide a high-level, high-quality service assurance role to the Business's client.
- Threat analysis and investigations of new technologies.
- Assist with drafting RCA reports with any information gathered after major incidents (Report to be drafted within 2 days after the major incident)
- Attend to network security incidents, service requests, and changes within the allocated time frame
- Responding to and reporting network cyber security incidents and events
- Extensive use of network security monitoring tools (i.e., SolarWinds, FortiAnalyzer, Flowmon etc)
- Firewall Management (FortiGate, SonicWALL, and Huawei).
- Maintaining the internet and WAN links.
- Admin of ClearPass and Other LAN Security and network management devices. Network devices hardening.
- Perform scheduled and daily maintenance on network security devices.
- Develop and document threat-hunting techniques
- Reporting of high-level, high-quality to relevant parties.
- Liaising with Clients on all Security-related events and fault resolutions.
- Client update and follow up until incident closure: Complete understanding of ITIL practices.
- Perform project lead function within the network security unit.
- Register and lead tenders from the technical perspective.
- Ensure patch management and vulnerability mitigation of network security tools/systems.
- Cross-collaboration with all levels within the Organisation.
Minimum requirements
- Relevant Qualification (Diplomas and Certification) (NQF 6), with 3 to 5 years' of job-related experience.
- With at least 2 to 5 years' of job-related experience (Routing and Switching).
- At least 2 to 5 years' of experience in IT Security | Firewall Management | or Cyber security.
- Project coordination or facilitation experience.
- ITIL experience/exposure.
- Experience dealing with a diverse client base.
- CCNA or CCNP | HICA or HCIP Security.
- NSE 4 Certification.
- CompTIA Security
- With 3 to 5 years' of job-related experience (Network Security or Cyber Security).
- Leadership Skills.

- Fast-paced but carefully thought-out results.
