Job description
- Be situated at the STH Admin Building, Bunting Road Campus, Kingsway, but not excluded from teaching on other campuses
- Teach allocated modules
- Conduct and publish your research within a focus area in Hospitality management
- Fulfil leadership and administrative roles in the within the STH when required
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students and learners from our client organisations
- Supervise postgraduate students’ research, including honours and master’s
- Conduct and publish your research within a research focus area of your personal interest
- Fulfil leadership roles in the department
- Administration tasks in department
- Make a meaningful difference through community engagement
- Forge and maintain external professional networks
Minimum requirements
- A Masters degree in Hospitality management
- Proven experience in teaching/training at a reputable higher education institution, locally or internationally
- Evidence of published articles in accredited journals
- Evidence of successful supervision
- If not completed, be registered for a PhD degree
- Well-developed quantitative and/or qualitative methodology skills
- Sound problem-solving and decision-making skills
- An excellent ability to speak and write in English
- Computer literate (MS Office ext)
- Ability to teach online
- Able to teach large groups
