Job description
- Teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
- Research and supervision
- Administration of undergraduate and postgraduate modules
Minimum requirements
- Doctorate in English Literary Studies
- A strong research and publication track record
- 5 years higher education teaching experience
- Experience in course administration
- An ability to teach on a wide range of English literary contexts, i.e., South African, African and metropolitan, and areas, i.e., gender, modern, postmodern, colonial and postcolonial literatures
- An ability to work as part of a team
- NRF Rating
- A willingness to take on leadership roles in the department
