Job description
- Manage and roll out Online and blended learning.
- Manage online outputs and learning with the departments of the School.
- Build an Online strategy in line with UJ and JBS priorities
- Set clear targets, build the online budget and articulate throughout.
- To assist and manage the implement and evaluation of internal marketing and communication activities within the School.
- Support the brand strategy and marketing strategy within the School and UJ.
- To assist in the positioning of the School among relevant stakeholder and build a favourable public profile.
- Provide regular input and support the updating and content management of the School’s website for all targeted audiences.
- Create and foster relations with external organisations to build mutually beneficial collaborations, especially in the space of Online.
- Liaise and coordinate online and marketing support service for the JBS department to ensure adherence to corporate online and marketing guidelines/ regulations.
- Ensuring that the School’s online strategy and marketing adheres to the corporate marketing strategy, policies and procedure of the University of Johannesburg (Governance).
- Implement, control and evaluate these programmes.
- Keep abreast of the environment, developments and trends of the internal and external Online marketing, and programmes.
Minimum requirements
- A Degree in specialisation in Social Sciences, Psychology or Business Management or relevant qualification at NQF level 7
- /-7year experience in project management
- Experience in managing Enterprise and Supplier Development projects
- A fair understanding of SMME development
- Excellent reporting skills
- Stakeholder engagement
- Monitoring and evaluation of project
- Budget control
- Great interpersonal skills and works well in a team
- Have experience in leading a team
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills and the ability to adapt communication to a range of audiences.
- Marketing and communication strategy skills are essential.

- Good financial management and budgeting skills.
