Job description

Coordinate the team of librarians and student assistants to provide an information service to support the teaching, learning and research goals of the University.  This includes collaborative relationship building, collection development, training, support for research and publication outputs, and marketing and promotion of all library services and activities.

Minimum requirements

  • Degree in Library and Information Science or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum of three years’ experience of information service provision in a higher education institution library (within a faculty) or special/research library
  • Desirable:
    • Five years’ experience within all functions of the library; and
    • One year supervisory or managerial experience
